100,000

13 May 2006
Escondido, California

Miles, unfortunately, not dollars.

If you have sent me an email in the last few days and are expecting a response that hasn't arrived yet, please let me know.  I had real spotty internet access in Las Vegas (I had to walk over to the KOA and sit in front of the General Store to get it to work) and I'm not sure if everything I sent actually got out.

Because of the fact that what happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas, I can only tell you that we had a good time.  Tamara did much better on the Midway than I did at the slot machines but all-in-all we both enjoyed our visit in Sin City.

When we went down to load up the bike this morning there was a definite indication that it had been far too long since we'd ridden the bike.

After relocating this guest worker to a more appropriate location we loaded up and headed south.  About 20 miles east of Barstow, California there's a wide spot on the road they call "Harvard".  It was in Harvard we stopped to document on "film" yet another milestone.

Here's hoping we get another 100,000 from this pickle.

We're gonna 'chill' here in Escondido, California for a day or so (Tamara has a long-time friend she wants to spend time with while we're here) before heading north.
